Just like the cultural and artistic diversity of the city of brotherly love itself, The Wonder Bars reflect an eclectic and danceable blend of funk, samba, jazz and rock vibes transcending into their electronic roots to deliver a distinct variety of house music.

The brooding pain of love permeates this album and despite that struggle being a vocal theme throughout, there is a fair share of playful moments and straight up funky grooves that balance out the emotions. This teetering between deep contemplative vibes and fun ass shaking beats is one of the key ingredients that keeps listeners engaged and feet moving.

The album opens with the heartfelt and jazzy “No More” and this is the type of song you can imagine a band playing in a smokey bar scene of 90s TV detective drama. The instrumental “Panther” takes you on a six and a half minute journey that mixes jackin’ techno with soulful guitar melodies. Another standout is the UK garage influenced “Falling In Love” with swingin’ drums and addictive chopped up vocals.

The live show is an integral aspect of the Wonder Bars music. The band consists of Tom Scott on vocals, Timmy Dubz on bass, Ray Waller on guitar, DJ Ha on percussion/keyboards/backing vocals along with some saxophone from Rob Potter. The jamming synergy of the group and their pure enjoyment of performing music is clearly evident in their stage theatrics and spontaneous improvisation. Focused on bringing a live element to the EDM culture, the Wonder Bars have been a staple of the Philadelphia underground for the past five years, playing some of the city's most legendary underground and mainstream venues, as well as hosting their own parties.

The Wonder Bars are gearing up to expand their touring agenda and are now seeking spring and summer 2017 bookings around the US in support of the new album.
